Welcome to the Croswell Peony Garden website. All of my plants are hybridized, evaluated, selected, and grown in my home garden. My interest is in herbaceous peonies that are good garden plants; self-supporting plants that provide a good amount of color in the garden. I currently live and garden in Michigan (USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 6a), but when I began hybridizing peonies I was living in central North Carolina (Zone 8a). Many of my hybrid seedlings began in this warmer climate zone so I'm hoping heat-tolerance is retained in some of my breeding lines.
